spacious, friendly staff

inaccessibility to BTS, Trains

Close to the Grand Palace & other temples; not too far from other places like Khao San road. Thankful the staff gave early checkin; helped us immensely as we were traveling with a young child. if u r in bangkok with less time & want ti cover few places- this is worth a look.

the rooms allotted need to be cleaner; the bathrooms were small;

This was our 2nd stay at the Royal Princess. We previously stayed there in February 2023 for two weeks. The people / staff at the hotel were friendly from the security guards, bell boys, restaurant staff, to the women who worked the front desk. Check in and check out was a very easy process. Thew same thing also apples to billing meals to the room.

The bathtub walls are very high, making it difficult to get in and out to take a shower.

Staffs were friendly and helpful, and room was spacious and very comfortable. The buffet breakfast was great with a mixed variety of western style (toasts, pancakes, eggs, breakfast sausages) and Asian style (Chinese and Thai - stir-fries, soup, congee, noodles and rice) dishes, and the selection of fresh fruits at breakfast was AMAZING!!! Hotel is located about 10-15 minutes from most of the tourist attractions like the Grand Palace and Temple of Emerald Buddha in the city, so it takes a little bit of traveling for tourists of older age. But tuk-tuks and taxis are available at the door so it was not inconvenient. Being a little bit away from tourist attractions also gives the hotel surrounding a quieter local feel and it's more relaxing after a long day of visiting tourist's hot spots which we enjoyed! There are also hidden gems in the neighborhood - authentic Thai restaurants run by the locals serving tasty Thai food like Pad-Thai, Basil stir-fry and Green Papaya salad at very reasonable price. All just about 10 minutes walk from the hotel. Royal Princess Larn Luang is a great choice for tourists who are traveling with families and not opting to just stop at tourists catered restaurants and shops.

The room was spacious and comfortable with a private balcony. The hotel also has a small fitness room (although one machine wasn't working) and a nice pool. It is well located for attending events at the UN.

Staff were helpful and friendly and the hotel is in a great location.

Good hotel close to the UN Conference Center (15 min walk, there was a shuttle bus, organized by the hotel) where I had my meetings. Spacious rooms, good breakfast, friendly staff.

Breakfast was good. The ladies of the reception and the night porter were very friendly and helpful. Nice large pool! Quiet area (but somewhat remote from the center). Ground floor looking nice but the furniture bit old.

Employees of the restaurant and the day porters didn't show much interest in the clients. The guest rooms need renovation. Because of the humidity the room did smell slightly. The balcony was not clean.

Lovely comfortable hotel .Great value for money. Pleasant efficient staff. Excellent breakfast.

Some areas of hotel are a little datrd.

Good food many options available, comfy bed, nice terrace on top floor lovely of you want to be on your own with your partner as not many people stay up there

For being so touristic not many of the staff speaks very good English

Breakfast was excellent, staff were lovely, pool area was very nice. Everything was spotless.

Nothing. It's not really close to anywhere but then it's not far from anywhere either and taxis are very cheap in BKK as long as you get one with a meter.

It was very clean, the room was big and comfortable, the staff were very friendly and the restaurant served nice food.

The gym and pool area could have been slightly bigger, as there were often no free pool loungers but that's being overly picky as you don't travel bangkok to sit by the pool. Also very expensive alcohol.

i liked everything, location, facilities,very hot water, room was big and as requested and very clean, good breakfast for Muslims and non-Muslims, it was very near to my business location either by walking or by any transportation. the staff are very welcoming and awesome and helpful. and in total everything was Perfect.

Easy to access UNESCAP by free shuttle service. Comparably good breakfast.

No place to eat or shop nearby hotel. Need to take taxi to get the nearest LRT staton. Bathroom was rather shabby, especially shower hose.

The facilities were wonderful and the location handy to get around. Staff at reception on arrival and at the restaurant were helpful. There was a pianist / singer in the bar every night, which was lovely but the rooms were still quiet so no problems sleeping.

I tried to organise transport from the hotel but on arrival there was no-one there in spite of the hotel confirming by email before. Staff told me to get a taxi instead, which in the end worked out much cheaper, although a bit more stressful but all was fine.

The view from the roof top, swimming pool nice and clean, breakfast was great, staff very helpful.

The bathtub was too high in which my husband and one of my daughter nearly slipped and hurt themselves twice

It was definitely 4 to 5 star. Was central to everything just lovely

Some of the taxi service men, not sure if aligned with royal princess but several were rude and laughed when we wanted a met red taxi

We had a problem with our little Girl and we had to go to Hospital The staff was great and gave us a free lift to the hospital Thanks again ! Very good breakfast also We ll go back

Staff is very impolite and not helpful at all. Do NOT resort to the taxi service offered by the hotel (except the free shuttle - one way, no return) as they charge 9x the common price! Realize that this hotel is in a very bad neighbourhood. Additional to that, a perfume bottle ‘disappeared’ from our room.
